About Reformed churches
Reformed churches share the Calvinist theology of the Presbyterian tradition but often descend from the Dutch and German Reformed churches of continental Europe. They hold to historic confessions such as the Heidelberg Catechism, teach the sovereignty of God's grace, and worship in an orderly service of scripture, preaching, psalms and hymns. Congregations are governed by elders and grouped in regional bodies.
