About Jehovah's Witness churches
Jehovah's Witnesses meet in Kingdom Halls rather than churches and are organised worldwide from their headquarters in Warwick, New York. Their weekly meetings centre on Bible study, a public talk and discussion of Watch Tower publications, and members are known for door-to-door ministry. They do not celebrate most traditional Christian holidays and hold distinctive beliefs about God, Jesus and the future, so a visitor should expect a service quite different from other traditions.
